How to Eliminate Unsightly Arm Fats For Good
When trying to lose weight, you will realize that the belly and arm fats are among the most difficult types of fat to lose. Men tend to collect fat in the belly as they grow older while women ten to gather fat in their arms as they gain weight. However, both the arm and belly fats can cause stress to men and women. The only way you can effectively lose them is by losing fat in all parts of the body. It is a scientific fact that you cannot lose fat in only one place at a time. Unfortunately, the fat cells in the arms tend to be one of the last to shrink.
Good thing is that you can now achieve more toned and shapely arms if you work hard for it. Unsightly arm fat as we all know, is more common to women than men. This is because men typically do more heavy lifting than women and have more developed muscle instead of fat. Once your arms are not toned, there is a great possibility that you have extra fat and even extra skin.
Family genetics is one of the primary causes of arm fat. Also obesity can be a cause since the extra fat in the body must reside somewhere and your underarms is a common place for it to build up. And lastly, lack of muscle tone could be the probably cause. If you are at a healthy weight and have flabby arms, you are simply lacking muscle tone. Your arms are only comprised of fat, skin, and little muscle.
Reducing the fats in the arm will not just allow you to wear all the clothes you want but it will also reduce your overall body fat percentage which will later on help in improving the overall quality of your health. Another benefit is for cosmetic reasons. Larger upper arms can ruin the appearance of posture, draw attention to a larger chest and contribute to an overall appearance of being “top heavy.”
Though it is said that arm fats are difficult to get rid of, there are still some effective ways on how you can get the results you want. One of the basic ways on how you can reduce arm fat is proper diet. If you are overweight, the chances are your arms will not be very shapely. To lose this unsightly fat, what you need is to follow a healthy balanced diet and eat low-glycemic carbohydrates foods balanced with protein and plenty of vegetables. Eat healthy fats and avoid junk food especially those that are offered in fast foods. If you are regularly drinking soda, then it is high time to cut it on your diet. You will instantly see the results by eliminating 200 calories in a day from not drinking soda.
Exercise is also a big help in shredding the extra fats in your arms. Some of the beneficial exercises include cardio and muscle toning exercises. Exercise is also required to some people who are planning to lose arm fat to guarantee that the skin retracts faster and the muscles remain toned.
If these two methods fail, the last resort would be cosmetic surgery. This method may cost you big money and is also very painful. However, most surgeons will not do this procedure on obese people with other health conditions because they know they will not achieve good results. But if you just lost around 100 or 200 pounds, then you can be an excellent candidate for said surgery.
